Language is the means we use to communicate and share our thoughts, ideas & messages. Around the globe numerous languages are being developed, are being used, some are dead and some are dying as very few people use them now. Communication is done with and without words. The verbal form of language communicates through sounds, words or speaking whereas in the non-verbal form gestures, facial expressions, body movements, etc. are used. We recognize the latter by a more common term Sign Language that is predominantly used by deaf-mute people. 

The first communication a human being does is non-verbal. A new born baby can sense the touch of her mother way before she understand the words.
